I wait for the second the land forgets it is being watched — then I press the shutter.

Field, not studio

Based between the Norwegian fjords and the Pacific Northwest, I work only at the edges of the day — the blue hour before dawn and the last ember of dusk.

Patience as method

Long-exposure studies of fog, water and first light — sometimes I walk into a landscape and wait for days for a single frame of wild light.
